Originally known as St John’s Anglican, Keiraville, KI Church’s story began over 100 years ago in 1906 when our first church was built on Parsons St, West Wollongong. However, on the 24th of March 1940, a windstorm on Easter Day destroyed the church building leading us to move to our current location on Eastern St, Gwynneville.

In 2010, St John’s and Figtree Anglican formed a partnership to reach the growing International student community at the University of Wollongong. This partnership was called Keiraville International Church (KIC) and was led by Rev. Dr. Thayil John. Through the years, the connection between KIC and the broader St John’s church became inseparable and led to our church community changing our name in 2024 to Keiraville International Church – KI Church.

KI Church is a vibrant international church that aims to be a home for all generations and a reflection of heaven where all backgrounds are welcome.
